Objets d’expression

These three following objects form a set of diplomatic gifts to offer for the Canton of Vaud whose starting point is a local turn of phrase.
“Y’a pas le feu au lac” takes the form of a pop-pop toy boat, referring to the vapours of Lake Geneva.
“Mettre de l’eau dans son vin” becomes a glass container inspired by the traditional Vaudois channe, evoking moderation and adaptation.
“Le quart d’heure vaudois” is reinterpreted as a tabletop hourglass, recalling a singular relationship to time and pause.
The project aims to make these local turns of phrase tangible, with each object opening up stories and interpretations connected to Vaud’s cultural heritage.
